The RM Group at CCB is an experienced industry leader with long term relationships within the HECM world. CCB is a fully approved HECM lender with investors that include the Home Equity Conversion Mortgage (FHA HECM) buyers as well as conventional jumbo proprietary products. Our unique philosophy is to train, coach, and build (TCB) our mortgage loan originators (MLO) knowledge while they originate HECM loans. Reverse mortgage products are not difficult, they are just different.

It requires a commitment to train on the product, understand the sales cycle and the demographics of the senior client base, along with the willingness to learn a new product, workflow, a new sales approach, our state-of-the-art system (EPIC) that is intuitive and straightforward. EPIC teaches MLO's as they originate a loan for a senior homeowner. Our ambassadorship approach provides each MLO with an experienced reverse mortgage team that will assist them with the structuring of loans, preparing borrowers for loan application, file management with consistent and meaningful communication. The RM Group engages with the MLO’s to develop new business strategies that includes new marketing techniques for the new age demographics of today’s senior population.

Senior homeowners over 60 years old are the fastest growing demographic in the United States at over 12,000 Americans turning 60 every day! The demographic numbers are staggering, our society has started aging at a disproportionate rate.

The greatest source of personal wealth in America among those 60+ years old , is the static equity in their homes – in fact that number is approximately 13 TRILLION dollars, and Baby Boomers have less liquid wealth than ever before at the point of active retirement.

According to the National Association of Realtors report, 51% of all sellers and buyers in 2023 were 60+ years old.

There has never been a better time for an MLO to engage and develop the knowledge to market and originate the HECM program to create a full suite of products. In today’s market the MLO must be equipped to support originations from the first-time home buyers to Americas senior homeowners/buyers with retirement financial programs like the HECM.
